Waste from households and similar waste from commerce, industry, and institutions that is similar in nature and composition to household waste. Municipal waste is covered by Chapter 20 of the List of Wastes. Local authorities have a statutory duty to arrange collection and disposal of household waste. Commercial premises can arrange private collection.
